Overview:
A behind-the-scenes look at how Kasdyn Click, founder of Click Lawn & Snow Removal, received an unexpected $10,000 SnowEx plow after ranking #1 on Google back in 2017. This real moment captures the grit, work ethic, and once-in-a-lifetime break that helped shape a Connecticut snow-removal company serving private roads, hospitals, apartments, and commercial clients from 2014–2021.
December 2017 was one of those life-changing, holy-shit moments you don’t forget.
I was running Click Lawn & Snow Removal, the company I owned from 2014 to 2021, handling everything from private roads to hospitals, apartment complexes, park-and-rides, sanding operations — the whole grind. We were good at what we did, and I invested heavily in SEO so the business showed up everywhere online.
And then the phone rang.
A higher-up from SnowEx, one of the biggest and most respected snow-plow companies in the country, was on the line.
“Hey kid, who are you?”
“I’m Kasdyn,” I answered.
“You come up first on Google when we search for snow plowing.”
I laughed — “Yeah man, I know. I paid a lot of money to make that happen. And we are one of the best in our industry at snow. Easiest to work with, too. I grew up in the Midwest — I’ve seen snow no one in the Northeast has ever seen in their entire life.”
He pauses, then comes back with something I’ll never forget:
“If you’re in town and can get to your shop in the next hour, I’ll give you a $10,000 SnowEx plow.”
Word. I was already grabbing my keys.
I got to the shop, and the moment was surreal. We were taking photos, I was literally tearing up crying— it was one of those this is really happening moments. A milestone. A reward for the grind.
We brought the truck to Sno White in Southington, and the next day it came out fully outfitted with a brand-new SnowEx plow. Wayne, one of our drivers, broke it in — and it was an absolute beast. That setup crushed storms. It handled everything New England threw at us.
We used that plow proudly until the day I exited the snow-plowing business.
SnowEx — you’re awesome. Thank you for believing in us.
And to everyone who ever worked with Click Lawn & Snow Removal: those nights, storms, emergencies, and coffee-fueled mornings were some of the best times of my life. A hardworking crew, real Midwest grit, and a company that punched far above its weight.
