On Friday night in Baltimore, Dr. Florence Davidovski passed away in an unexpected accident at her home. Her sudden departure has left her family and friends heartbroken, but her legacy is one that will forever be remembered.
Florence was a trailblazer. She was admitted into the very first female class at Johns Hopkins University, breaking barriers at a time when women were not yet welcome in many places of higher education. She later went on to run her own private eye surgery practice. There, she spent years restoring vision and helping people regain hope.
Her compassion knew no borders. Florence traveled to Africa multiple times, performing surgeries for entire villages. She gave sight back to those who had been living in darkness, She was known for treating patients regardless of their financial means. She chose kindness over profit.

At 42 years old, Florence gave her life to Christ. From that moment on, she lived deeply in her faith. She was strong in her convictions, unyielding in her values, and genuine to her core.
To those closest to her, Florence will also be remembered for the little moments that made her so unique. She loved at-home movie nights with her son, complete with double features and candy, She was a wonderful cook who believed almost everything could be made better with butter. Laugh as much as she loved, She was fiercely proud, incredibly intelligent, and always available when it mattered most.
Florence’s greatest pride was her son, Alex Hormozi. Today, Alex carries forward the strength, resilience, and authenticity his mother instilled in him. Through his own work as a successful entrepreneur, author, and media leader, he continues to reach and inspire people around the world. He is living proof of Florence’s enduring influence.
Her story was one of brilliance and imperfection, deep love, and occasional struggle. It was also one of unwavering faith and human frailty. Now, in her passing, there is peace in believing she has reunited with her Creator and been welcomed home with the words she longed to hear: “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
