WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — Presence News recently caught up with actress Kerry Bazarova during a Strive Networking event at State Social House in West Hollywood, where she spoke about her acting career, current film work, and one unforgettable moment from a movie set that she still remembers today.
Originally from Russia, Bazarova is a Moscow Theatre University alumni where she studied before pursuing a career in film and television. Since then, she has built a diverse acting résumé that includes appearances in the HBO documentary series After Baywatch, the feature film Dr. Quarantine, and a variety of other productions.
During her conversation with Presence News, Bazarova introduced herself to viewers and discussed the film she is currently working on. She also shared one of the more memorable experiences from her time on set while portraying a witch in a production.
According to Bazarova, part of the costume included a witch’s hat. During filming, the hat unexpectedly caught fire, creating a surprising moment that quickly became one of the stories she remembers most from her career. The July 2026 event attended by Presence News was held at State Social House on the iconic Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. Known for its lively atmosphere, the venue offers sports viewing, dining, cocktails, live entertainment, private event spaces, and a rooftop cigar and hookah lounge overlooking Sunset Boulevard. The location has become a popular gathering place for networking events, entertainment professionals, and visitors exploring West Hollywood’s nightlife.
