LOS ANGELES, CA — Blac Chyna, now professionally known as Angela White, was recognized with the Transformative Entrepreneur of the Year Award during the inaugural BET Weekend Black Excellence Gala, held June 26, 2026, at the Globe Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.
The gala brought together leaders from entertainment, music, business, and community organizations to celebrate individuals whose work has made a meaningful impact both professionally and beyond. The evening featured award presentations, live entertainment, networking opportunities, and recognition of those who have demonstrated leadership, innovation, and service within their respective industries.

The Black Excellence Gala celebrated individuals whose contributions continue to shape the entertainment industry and their communities. In addition to White, the evening honored music executive Jeff Blue and Grammy Award-winning producer RoccStar, among other distinguished recipients recognized for their achievements and influence.
Held during BET Weekend in Los Angeles, the inaugural event served as a celebration of excellence across entertainment, entrepreneurship, and community leadership, bringing together artists, executives, media members, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals for an evening recognizing those making a lasting impact.
