Downtown Los Angeles transformed into a fast-moving festival of creativity, racing, media, and entertainment as the annual Red Bull Soapbox Derby returned with packed crowds, custom-built derby cars, and appearances from notable personalities throughout the day.

Presence News attended the event capturing cinematic black & white film coverage alongside ambient sound recordings from the course, crowd reactions, and finish line atmosphere. The event drew massive public attention as teams raced handmade soapbox creations down the course in front of thousands of spectators across Los Angeles.
Notable appearances throughout the event included professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler, NASCAR personality Dale Earnhardt Jr., and comedian Leo Gonzalez, adding additional excitement to an already high-energy environment.
Presence News operated from near the finish line throughout the day utilizing cinema camera equipment, interview gear, and professional tripods to document the atmosphere surrounding the competition and attendees. The event showcased the intersection of sports culture, entertainment, creativity, and live media production in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles.
A special thank you goes to Perfums De Santo and owner Esteban Terrazas for taking time during the event to showcase their fragrances to Presence News.
Presence News would also like to thank the staff of Red Bull along with attendees throughout the event who continued bringing Red Bulls to Kasdyn and the media area throughout the day while coverage was being filmed under the Los Angeles sun.
The event once again demonstrated how large-scale public activations in Los Angeles continue to merge sports, entertainment, branding, creator culture, and independent media into one highly visible environment.
Additional video coverage, photography, and cinematic ambient footage from the event will be released across Presence News platforms.
