Torrance Passport Program Launches at Del Amo

From now through April 26, the Torrance Passport program invites the Torrance community to take part. This is a municipal-run program.

Residents and visitors of the City of Torrance may pick up the Torrance Passport Booklet at a variety of locations. These include the Torrance City Hall, all Torrance libraries, and the California Welcome Center located at the Del Amo Fashion Center.

The program encourages participants to get out and explore the city through local museums, local restaurants, and community events. When participants visit a location, they collect signatures on their Torrance Passport Booklet. Additionally, they can share their experiences on social media by taking pictures at these events.

On March 29, a large crowd gathered at the Cherry Blossom Cultural Center. Many were excited to begin collecting passport stamps after learning more about the program.

Participants must provide their full name, address, and contact telephone number on the signature page. They also must collect a minimum of ten signatures from participating locations or events to complete the challenge. Participants may submit completed booklets at the California Welcome Center, where they will receive prizes.

The Torrance Passport program offers a fun and engaging way for people to discover local attractions, support businesses, and experience the community.
