Emmy-Winning Meteorologist Jennifer Watson Joins as Emcee
Tor-Con has also announced that Jennifer Watson will serve as an emcee for the 2027 conference.
Watson is an Emmy Award-winning meteorologist, television host, keynote speaker and consultant. She also hosts Weather After Dark, a late-night weather podcast.
As an emcee, Watson will help guide the conference’s main-stage programming, introduce speakers, keep sessions on schedule and support the flow of programming throughout the event.
Her participation adds an experienced weather communicator to the program, which is designed to bring together professionals working across emergency management, severe weather forecasting, research and disaster response.
