Halloween season is set to return to Griffith Park as the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride opens for its 2026 run from September 18 through November 1, bringing a full lineup of haunted attractions, live entertainment, interactive experiences, and seasonal food to one of Southern California’s longest-running Halloween destinations. The event is scheduled to operate every night during the season, with discounted early ticket pricing available for guests who purchase in advance.

Hosted at 4730 Crystal Springs Drive, Los Angeles, California, the attraction transforms Griffith Park into the fictional town of Midnight Falls, where visitors can explore themed experiences beyond the signature haunted hayride. This year’s event is presented by Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, one of the country’s largest Halloween entertainment companies.

Among the featured attractions for 2026 is Elvira’s Trick or Treat Mayhem, a haunted maze inspired by the iconic Mistress of the Dark. Guests can also experience Hellbilly Halloween, an attraction set deep within the backwoods of Midnight Falls, while the Scary-Go-Round offers a Halloween-themed carnival ride designed to add another layer of spooky fun to the evening.

Throughout the night, visitors can enjoy live performances from The Late Monte Revolta Show, which features changing performances alongside characters Monte Revolta and Ms. Muerte. Fans of Elvira will also find exclusive merchandise inside the Elvira Pop-Up Shop, while the Midnight Falls Cider Mill will serve seasonal refreshments including apple cider and cider donuts.

Interactive attractions continue throughout the grounds with the Zombie Splat GellyBall Experience, where participants use GellyBall launchers while live zombie actors create an immersive shooting gallery experience. Additional activities include Madame Aurora’s Séance Theatre, Midnight Falls Axe Throwing, and a collection of Mini Escape Games designed for small groups looking to solve puzzles against the clock.

For guests looking to slow down between scares, several S’mores Stations will be available throughout Midnight Falls, creating opportunities to relax before venturing into the next attraction. Live performers and roaming characters are expected to interact with visitors across the event grounds throughout each evening.

Event organizers note that advance ticket purchases can provide discounted pricing, and parking options include prepaid lots near the venue as well as complimentary shuttle service from designated parking areas around Griffith Park. Guests are encouraged to plan ahead due to expected traffic around Crystal Springs Drive during peak Halloween weekends.
