Bridgehampton, NY — Adoption Day at the Hampton Classic Horse Show brought together animal lovers and rescue groups on Monday, August 25, 2025. With sunny skies and a slight breeze, the event provided a perfect backdrop. Comfortable temperatures hovering just below 80 degrees encouraged families to meet adoptable animals.
Among the highlights this year were the mini horses, which captured the attention of crowds both young and old. Their playful energy and small stature made them the stars of the afternoon. Visitors were drawn in for photos and plenty of affection.
One of the most heartwarming moments came when Rising Starr Horse Rescue of Wilton, CT celebrated the adoption of one of their horses. For the group, the Hampton Classic offered not only visibility. It also gave them the chance to see one of their rescues head to a new, loving home.
Organizers emphasized that the annual Adoption Day is more than a showcase—it’s an opportunity to connect animals in need with families. Such families are ready to give them a fresh start. With several successful adoptions and plenty of community support, the event once again proved to be a highlight of the Hampton Classic.
