Fiesta Hermosa brings the community together over Memorial Day weekend.

Attendees gather at the Acoustic Stage during Fiesta Hermosa in Hermosa Beach over Memorial Day weekend.

Fiesta Hermosa returned to Hermosa Beach from May 23–25. The festival welcomed families, friends, and visitors for a weekend filled with music, food, rides, and local vendors near the beach.

During the yearly community fair, guests will be able to find many blocks filled with rides, games, food vendors, shopping, and live acts. Furthermore, attendees will buy ticket(s) to play on rides while taking part in various activities through the festival grounds.

One of the most iconic attractions of the fair was the Ferris wheel that sat above the fairgrounds. It was watched by millions of people who attended the beachside festival over Memorial Day Night!

Live Music Across the Festival

Live music played throughout the event across five stages: the Garden Stage, Acoustic Stage, Javaman Stage, Carnival Stage, and Silent Disco stage. As a result, community members gathered to sit, dance, and enjoy performances with family and friends.

The final highlight was GB Young & the Wandering Souls performing to bring everyone together in an outdoor atmosphere. The show was filled with some great communal spirit.

Local Vendors and Community Booths

Local businesses and independent vendors also participated in the festival. For example, at the Moonstone & Mist Bookshop booth, fantasy author Meghan Haskell met with visitors to discuss her novel Aether Bound and connect with readers attending the fair. Haskell also participated in a video interview with Maria Cornejo of Presence News.

Food and beverage vendors had many choices of refreshments and snacks available to festival attendees. One vendor, called Silk & Jade, provided teas from China, such as Amber Oolong and Formosa matcha, presented alongside sample mini pancakes drizzled with maple syrup.

Many visitors spent the holiday weekend enjoying the activities and making memories with family and friends by the beach.
