A Family Legacy Rooted in Oaxaca
Mateo’s Ice Cream is a Mexican-owned business and the newest of five locations. Known for its use of fresh fruit and traditional flavors, the shop reflects the family’s roots in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Founded by Priciliano Mateo, the ice cream and popsicle business was created because of Priciliano’s desire to make quality food from fresh ingredients, an important aspect of their identity. Although he died in 2018, his legacy continues within his family.
Continuing a Tradition of Authentic Flavors
Currently, Elizabeth Mateo, along with her family, continues the family tradition of providing the community with authentic flavors and a connection to their heritage.
