LA CHA Opens New Hawthorne Location with Strong Turnout
LA CHA celebrated the grand opening of its new location 4834 Rosecrans Ave, Hawthorne, CA 90250, on Saturday, January 3, drawing a steady crowd of customers eager to try the café’s food and drinks. Maria Cornejo of Presence News visited the restaurant during opening day to observe the turnout and sample items from the menu.
The café opened at 10 a.m., with a long line forming outside as guests waited to place their orders.
Crowds Line Up on Opening Day
From early morning, customers gathered outside the restaurant as staff began taking orders. The strong turnout reflected interest from the local community and nearby South Bay cities.
Wide Selection of Drinks and Food
Some of the different drinks provided by LA CHA include milk teas, smoothies, coffee drinks, and special frappes. They also have rice bowls and macaroni dishes.
Some of the most popular items on the menu are Oreo shakes, banana shakes, mango smoothies, coconut strawberry smoothies, pistachio matcha, strawberry matcha, Thai tea, jasmine milk tea, and a few iced coffee drinks.
Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Frappe Highlights Menu
One of the café’s standout specialty drinks is the Dubai chocolate pistachio frappe, featuring a smooth pistachio blend layered over chocolate, topped with crispy kataifi and roasted pistachio nuts.
Maria sampled the drink during the opening and described it as rich in flavor with a smooth finish.
Opening-Day Giveaways and Promotions
To mark the occasion, LA CHA gave white-and-green tote bags printed with the café’s name to the first 150 guests. The restaurant also offered gift card promotions for early customers.
A New Option for the South Bay Community
Residents from Hawthorne and the South Bay attended the opening to welcome a new dining option closer to home. The new location allows customers to enjoy LA CHA’s offerings without traveling to Los Angeles.
